African women have been termed as the future of the African continent. It is the only region globally, with the highest number of female entrepreneurs. Even though they boast a huge potential, they remain one of the least untapped resources in the continent. The secret of the continent is its diversity richness!
Well, not really. African Women and many women from developing countries, are at the bottom of the food supply chain. This means that their access to opportunities especially capital, are next to none. While we thrive for an equal world. for now, we want to first provide these opportunities to women, then level the play field first, before we can open it to wider audience.
We are cross-sector and have members working in different fields, industries and sectors. Our belief is that every single African Woman should have the same opportunities regardless of the business, innovation, sector or industry they are focused on. Whether you own a small store, you build cars, your innovating the next cure for cancer, building a plane, fixing cars, offer consulting, own a salon, work in construction, own a mine, building a bank, work in exports and imports....or any other industry/business segment; you are very welcome to join AFFI Community.
We are running a business, not a charity organisation. We are also a community of serious, driven and committed founders. To join and tap into the community we are building, we ask you to show your commitment and seriousness by paying the one time joining fee. If this amount is too much for you, then this is not the right group for you.
No, this is not possible. As indicated, we ask for commitment from your end to guarantee that we only have women who are driven, committed and serious about their businesses.
